Lighthouse builds on HeroUI, a design system and component library, and today concludes the major effort to update from v2 to v3.
The result is
* More modern look
* More consistent UI
* Better usability and accessibility
* Faster in some areas
In the past hour ~99% of traffic to my website came from HackerNews.
It's interesting that in this group, Firefox has about half as many users as Chrome. I would've expected Chrome to have a bigger lead.
So saying the word βAIβ is actually highly unspecific. And in a few years, when the next breakthrough in AI arrives, weβll all refer to that when we say βAI.
Currently, every conversation that mentions AI actually refers to LLMs. Itβs not wrong, LLMs are part of AI after all, but AI is so much more than LLMs. The field of artificial intelligence has existed for decades, not just the past couple of years where LLMs got big.

The first version is done and available. It's marked as beta because at the moment it's still necessary to define the selectors yourself.
I'm currently working to make selection possible with click-to-select and after that to autogenerate the selectors.
