I think you have looked at differences between the terms which are 11,22,44....and then added 55. But this doesn't work because 33 is missing. If analysing it that way we should say the terms double each time, so rather than add 55, add 88.

@Sf38725173 @InvertTheWing Yes, the stats are interesting. I look at it this way. Prior odds are 1 in 4092. But all aways is just as noteworthy, so 1 in 2046. If you then divide by 80 league clubs it's 1 in 25. Suddenly, not so amazing. 10+ consecutive home or away will happen, especially given time.

@Sf38725173 @InvertTheWing I am saying that the probability of this happening is not what has been claimed. It could happen to ANY club (700+ in FA cup!) over a period of time and most likely has. People are saying corruption, but they don't understand that such things are not unlikely.

@Sf38725173 @InvertTheWing Being drawn home or away is 50/50. Same as a coin toss. Toss a coin enough, and you will get 12 heads in a row. It becomes certain. It's only an anomaly if you're looking for significance where there is none.
