I valued SpaceX for its IPO a few weeks ago, with minimal information and a promise to revisit the valuation, when the prospectus was made public. The prospectus is public, the offering price has been set and my update is up and running. https://t.co/zRjpD1C0wv
Realising Apple went public at under $2 billion and 15 times revenue in 1980.
SpaceX wants you to buy at $2 trillion and 100 times revenue in 2026.
That is not getting in early. That is being the exit for venture capitalists who have held this equity for years at a fraction of what you are being asked to pay.
Almost none of the retail investors buying this IPO will read the 300 pages before the book closes on June 11.
That is your entire competitive advantage right there.
Donald Trump is stealing $1.8 billion from taxpayers to enrich himself and reward his closest allies, billionaire cronies, and January 6 insurrectionists.
Some very simple math: if a country has 5% of the world's population and ability is evenly distributed, then 95% of the people who are best at any given thing will be born abroad.
CEOs are uniquely prone to AI psychosis because they’re sufficiently distant from the last mile of work that still has to happen to generate most value with AI.
So when they play with AI, they see the happy path results, often not considering the next 10 or 20 things that have to happen to get sustainable results from agents.
“Look I made this awesome product prototype”. Yes but you didn’t have to review the code before it went into production and fix a bunch of issues.
“Look I generated a contract”. Yes but you didn’t verify all the terms before it goes out to the counterparty and didn’t have to wire up all the past contracts to work with.
The best thing you can do as a CEO is to use AI a *ton* to figure out the real implications of agents in the enterprise, and come out the other side with an appreciation for both the upside and the real work that goes into them.
Can you imagine being the president and rewriting all the laws to benefit yourself? Your job is literally to help the people of your country, but instead you just enrich yourself and destroy anyone who questions you. What an asshole.
I feel like AI gets people to average quickly but if you really know your shit (or you actually care enough to go the extra mile) you’ll be more in demand than ever because people will long for craft in a sea of slop
iOS either needs to offer transcription capability that’s not from a decade ago or get out of the way so we can use apps like WisprFlow or Monologue without jumping through hoops.
Warren Buffett: "If the whole world lived by the Golden Rule, it would be such a more wonderful society."
"[It's] true for everything from parenthood to being a boss. Just everything in life."
"I've never seen anybody who's unhappy that behaved [according to the Golden Rule]."
