I haven't been around for 10 years but some of these are the reasons I don't evangelize Bitcoin much irl. Lots of potential pitfalls for those just trying to get rich quick
Bitcoin is up 200,000% in the past 10yrs. To hold it for that period, you had to:
- Not sell a 10-bagger (usually a top career investment for people)
- Not sell a 100-bagger (prob life changing)
- Not fall for a scam
- Not get hacked

My mum owns a small café in Leicester. Her electricity bill has just jumped from £10k ($12k) a year to £55k ($64k) a year.
