Before we got married during our counseling session, our counseling Minister trying to let us know that our children should not come in between the love we have for each other as a couple, he described children as visitors who maximally will stay 20-25yrs cumulatively with you and go their way.

Since then, I cherish the noises, each time the home is scattered or very noisy because of them, I always tell myself that in a few years time, I would be begging for this noise or scattered house from them.

My Dad now always begs for me to stay more days anytime I visit, anytime I am on call with my Dad, my knows that it will take a lot of time, except it's a quick enquiry, my Dad and I spend nothing less than an hour each time we are on phone and we do this twice or thrice a week.

Guys, be careful out there… the streets are dangerous 😭💔A woman targets you at a bar, offers you drinks, and even pays the bill. After that, she offers to drop you at her place.

Once you get to her gate, she invites you inside to at least have some water. But as soon as you enter, one or two of her friends come out of a room and lock the door behind you.

The three of them then take advantage of you and r@pe you. Afterwards, they give you 100k for transport as if that money could erase the trauma or restore your dignity.

A few hours ago, I escalated the issue below to the Lagos Commissioner for Youth and Social Development @Mo_ogunlende, following the publication.
The Commissioner and his team were able to trace the address and now, the child has been rescued.
The child is presently in the custody of the State Government, while the police are investigating the matter.

When I paid my first rent for my carwash space, I paid for 3 years.

When that expired and was to pay another one, rent increased.

I paid for 2 years.

It expired and was time to pay again... rent increased.

I paid 2 years again.

And I guess it would continue like that.

So, view it this way:

When you start a new business, a lot of things come along the way to discourage you from continuing that business.

But...

You must put some things in place to keep you going.

A business in its first year is most likely not making profits yet.

And let me tell you this:

The moment you move into a space and start running a business, the value of that space automatically increases.

And might occur to the landlord that he has not charged the worth of the space.

So, he would eagerly wait for your rent to elapse.

To give you an update on what he thinks his property is now worth.

Not their fault.

And your rent amount is often not as much as what it costs you to set up the space and perhaps stock it.

So Sam, how many years should we pay?

3 years is good.

In three years, you will be on your feet.

And once rent is there, there's still some form of motivation to get up and push.
