@MortisEnjoyer @holly___xxx___ @GadSaad@NobelPrize Tesla regulatory credits: $11.4 billion — revenue from selling government-mandated credits to other carmakers (Other carmakers preffered to buy those credits instead of building EVs).
@MortisEnjoyer @holly___xxx___ @GadSaad@NobelPrize Official and independent analyses show the government net saved ~$40 billion+ overall (heavily weighted toward DoD) precisely because of the efficiency and pricing SpaceX brought to those same contracts. Would you preffer to pay nearly 3x more to other than Elons companies?
@MortisEnjoyer @holly___xxx___ @GadSaad@NobelPrize Of the $38 billion total, nearly $4.5 billion consists of direct subsidies, grants, tax credits, and reimbursements (Includes things like $465M loan from 2010 for Tesla repaid 9 years early in 2013 with interest and early repayment fees. Making government rich, not Elon).
