Woke up with a heavy heart that actor will devalue the essence and honour of Independence Day by some unnecessary gestures and punch dialogues. Then I woke up and saw that TN is abuzz with how actor saluted the actress and both made this day all about themselves...yet again.

The one thing I can't bear are some elements of this country that makes vain the blood and lives and sacrifices made by men, women and children. Usually the sangh does it by projecting only some parts of the freedom struggle.

But this...this is a new low which no country would have ever seen while honouring their freedom fighters. Can't put into words the grief, regret and shame I feel while seeing this drama and thinking about our freedom movement. Actor's family and everyone associate with it is a blot on humanity and on this country. I don't even want to comment on Tamilnadu.

Well done, Tamilnadu. We are the worst of the worst.
