Follow the money on this one. It is rotten to the core.
The Pentagon just lent $620,000,000 to a tiny North Carolina startup called Vulcan Elements. The company is two years old.
It had fewer than 50 employees.
And three months before the deal was announced, Donald Trump Jr.’s venture firm quietly took a stake in it.
Here is the part the administration tried to bury.
Of the dozens of companies the Pentagon was weighing, Vulcan was the only deal initiated by a top White House aide. That aide was Peter Navarro, a close friend of Trump Jr. The order came down to move fast.
One official put it plainly: The call came from the White House. We have to get this done.
Staff worked late nights to push it through in weeks. Deals like this normally take many months of vetting. And when it closed, Vulcan’s valuation jumped from about 200 million dollars to roughly 2 billion.
A windfall for the investors, including the president’s son.
This is public money. Your money.
Routed through the Pentagon to enrich the president’s family and their friends. The Bush administration’s own chief ethics lawyer called it corruption we pay for.
And there is more coming.
A drone parts company Trump Jr. holds a stake in is also under Pentagon review.
This is not a one-off. It is a pattern. The president’s family is treating the federal Treasury like a private bank, and the bill lands on every taxpayer.

AI companies are making personal compute so expensive that you can't own it, just like private equity hoping to buy a bunch of homes and make people permanent renters
If won't be too long before you have to rent your compute from data centers instead of just owning processing power
It starts with expensive game consoles, it ends with the centralized ownership of compute in the hands of a few select oligarchs
So you make your entire wealth off of the United States, loot it for everything it’s worth, then peace out the moment it’s not going in the direction you failed to manipulate it into going? Absurd and sad. The US is your home. You must stay on the Titanic. This is a middle finger

The backstory: When Thor Heyerdahl was excavating on Easter Island in 1955-1956 he was shown old family caves, passed down through generations, which contained countless original and ancient statues and sculptures. Harold “Sonny” White, the warp drive pioneer behind NASA’s EagleWorks Lab, just stepped out of stealth with Casimir Inc. to unveil MicroSPARC: the first battery free chip to harvest continuous electrical power straight from the quantum vacuum via the Casimir force.
The 5 mm × 5 mm device uses millions of custom microscale Casimir cavities fabricated on a substrate. Inside each cavity, two fixed conductive walls create a region of negative vacuum pressure (the well known Casimir effect). Stationary micropillars anchored in the middle act as antennas. Electrons from the cavity walls then quantum tunnel to the pillars because the interior is a lower energy “quieter” zone — and the probability of tunneling back is orders of magnitude lower. This one way “quantum ratchet” flow generates a measurable DC current with no external power source or moving parts.
Prototypes already fabricated at university nanofab facilities (Texas A&M AggieFab, MIT.nano) have been tested in RF-shielded, low noise chambers for weeks. The team reports outputs ranging from millivolts to volts at picoamp to microamp levels using precision electrometers and Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy. Target performance for the first commercial chip: ~1.5 V at 25 µA (≈40 µW continuous). Stacking and scaling could reach milliwatts or even watts per device.
Initial applications are ultra low power: always on IoT sensors, wearables, and medical implants. Longer term roadmap includes trickle charging phones, powering small electronics, and eventually grid independent homes or EVs. Commercialization is targeted for 2028, starting at ~$100/W before dropping toward $10/W.
White ties the work directly to his earlier theoretical paper on emergent quantization from a dynamic vacuum and sees it as a practical power source for the deep-space missions he’s long championed.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and independent scientists have so far declined public comment. But if the engineering scales as hoped, MicroSPARC would represent a genuine paradigm shift: continuous, maintenance free power drawn from the fabric of spacetime itself.

A month ago, Andrej Karpathy dropped a simple GitHub gist called “LLM Wiki.”
Now the comments section looks like the birth of an entirely new AI category.
5000+ stars later, developers are rapidly building:
• persistent AI memory systems
• self-maintaining knowledge bases
• multi-agent research environments
• contradiction detection engines
• AI-native company operating systems
• local-first memory architectures
• graph-based reasoning layers
• evolving second brains
And the craziest part?
Most of them were built in DAYS.
Because the core idea is insanely powerful:
Instead of AI repeatedly retrieving raw chunks like traditional RAG…
…the model continuously maintains a living knowledge system.
Not temporary context.
Persistent synthesis.
