@mkolken My husband passed in March, after a 9 year battle with cancer. We were married 45 years and I spent 20% of it being his caregiver. I am so sad all the time and I cannot imagine how I will feel in 3 years. I pray you find peace soon.🙏

@mkolken I’m retired and a Grandma, and I’ve been taking care of my husband who was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer over 8-1/2 years ago. This morning I am voting straight Republican ticket. I am NOT a threat to Democracy. I’m the face of it.

@JesseKellyDC Also: husband’s youngest brother died suddenly in Jan 2021 and he was advised against entering funeral home due to his impaired immune system. So we stood outside in the cold parking lot and said our goodbyes.

@JesseKellyDC Our only grandchild was born in May 2019. We watched her first birthday on a Zoom Call. And saw her just once in all of 2020. Her grandfather has been fighting Stage IV lung cancer for 8-1/2 years and not seeing her was especially hard for him.
