It's not a survey of scientists! It's a survey of climate science papers' abstracts, it's a totally different thing.
Making a claim like

The mixing doesn't happen "physically", but in our perception

This is not like mixing paints, which is subtractive.
The reflected eg red and then blue light reach the eye in quick succession, and due to persistence of vision are added together.
