They shouldn't really try other than the most obvious name filter.

They put an LLM onto the task which worked a bit too well, and then they straight up banned based on it.

Your platform allowed it, you have the option to force a name change. Do that.

"You signed paper 3434 on clause #4554 it says X,y,z, therefore you lose everything, sorry".

But banning people without warning, due to a literal 'small text' contract clause is pretty vile especially when people didn't even log in with the chracters.

Blizzard as a private organisation can ban anyone for any reason at any time.

I can simply post this and move on, they can accept or decline either way everyone is happy and the free market rolls on.
