How can our team call themselves the "Carolina" Panthers when our stadium only caters to Charlotte locals?
I propose a new design for BoA Stadium, befitting of the Queen City. It hearkens back to the iconic appearance of the current stadium, but with modern Charlotte style.
@_Rob__G_ I'd encourage you to file a 311 report if you haven't already. I've already done the same. Hoping these posts herald something more substantial for this intersection.
It’s incredibly frustrating how many huge, successful events in this city’s most walkable neighborhoods have very limited parking yet any discussions about limiting parking permanently are treated as invalid and require compromise or further deliberation.
Since thousands of people from all over the Carolinas just attended the Yiasou Greek Festival in Dilworth, I think a high-end restaurant will be just fine. Calm down folks.
A Charlotte restaurant couple wants to save a historic building from demolition. Sounds like something we can all get behind, right?
Not if it means adding to parking headaches. https://t.co/qHBMKnVcPQ
@einsteinslegacy@chuckmcshane Hi Douglas, extra stops don’t affect headways, only travel time. In other words, the new station will not make the time between trains longer than it already is.
Headed to @CLTAirport?
@SEIU workers have been dealing with extreme heat & are marching for basic improvements, like water & areas to cool off. When people are working in conditions with extreme heat, we have to take care of them. @WFAE#PovertyDoesntFly

Imagine connecting these airports to rail first. The low-speed Piedmont line is a sufficient plane alternative, but CLT is a hub airport and passengers have no seamless way to connect to a train.
Last month, 80K+ passengers flew between Raleigh & Charlotte, just 130 miles apart. Bologna & Milan, with a similar combined population and distance, have 60 daily trains each way. Imagine connecting 40% of NC's population in 90 mins via high-speed rail?
