You cannot become a “hard tech” company without becoming a manufacturing company. You cannot become a great manufacturing co without becoming exceptional at physical operations. Technology alone is not enough to win in the space. If your investor does not understand what this really means be wary. 🚩🚩🚩

🛻 Electric UGVs aren't always enough for winter off-road conditions. So we're building Ukrainian buggies with remote control.
Closed tests with 33 GROUP of the "Tymur" Special Unit of @DI_Ukraine are done. Over half the designs already hold @Brave1ua grants and are being refined on frontline feedback.
Robotizing the front and preparing technologies for winter.

Some of you asked why I always put glasses in my profile picture.
The answer is more simpler than you realize: I’ve used glasses for more than 30 years of my life (3/4 of my life is a long time).
I’ve used a ton of glasses including sunglasses and prescription glasses in almost every possible style.
And when I was 12 years old, I almost lost my left eye due to a complicated infection I had there.
Fortunately that didn’t happened but if you look closely; you will see that my left eye is a little more closed than my right eye thanks to that disease.
4 years after that episode with my left eye; one of my uncles almost lost the same left eye due to a blast impact when he was working on his mechanics shop.
After those episodes I said to myself that I needed to do something about it.
But God acts in the most misterious ways, and now almost 20 years after; I had the chance to actually build something related to glasses.
I picked the most boring and simple (but so needed today in rugged environments) product to sell: safety glasses.
Why safety glasses? This is a category that is ready for disruption because it hasn’t changed in almost 40 years.
Same boring designs, same simple colors. Safety glasses intended for a simple task.
We are attacking this problem in a different way: we are building performance eyewear ready to be used in industrial floors, tactical fields or for cycling activities.
Our safety glasses are built under the ANSI Z87.1, which means that are impact-resistant.
And we will have a second version but under the ballistic eyewear standard (MIL-PRF-32432A), a more strict standard used by the US military for eyewear.
We will officially launch our store the upcoming June 28th on its own website called doubleosafety dot com (still in construction).
Follow @doubleosafety for more info
One of the values inside @doubleosafety is that we have to use our own products.
I know that this could be sound simple and logic but you could be surprised how many founders out there stay so far of the products of their companies.
We don’t and won’t do that.
That’s why you see me with our safety glasses out there everywhere.
Soon (June 28th, 2026) will be available for purchasing in Peru and in the US initially.
What I’ve been doing these days? Building @doubleosafety from the ground up.
But what is that? Double O came from two personal stories so many years ago when I was 12 years old.
In that time, I almost lost my left eye because I picked the wrong day to get sick with lacrimal canaliculitis.
It was a very difficult time because for a whole week, I was blind of the left eye.
Imagine a boy of 12 years old knowing that there was an actual chance to lose his eye.
Fortunately, with very strong medicines, my eye was healed without any issue (well I have that eye a little closed).
Since that week, I always wear sunglasses or prescription glasses (that’s why you see my profile picture with a pair of my favorite ones from @mvmt)
The second story is a recent episode with my uncle that almost lost the right eye due to an small piece of metal that came very fast from a mechanics work he was doing.
So: I asked a question to myself: is this the problem you are looking for to solve?
Let’s see:
✅ I love sunglasses
✅ Protective eyewear, especially industrial and ballistic eyewear has not changed in a decade
✅ It’s a market with no many players
✅ And the top players are selling them at outrageous prices
So, we are taking the long term approach here and building a true brand behind this work; and designing the first performance eyewear for rugged environments: from the battlefield to the factory.
Cool but good to wear.
One step at the time.
But in order to put my word on the line: official launch date -> June 28th, 2026.
Of course: this will be live on @Shopify that day with our first product.
Stay tuned
A moment of appreciation for the boys (and girls) behind the Operators podcast: @mikebeckhamsm@Seanfrank@mbertulli@JasonPanzer.
I just wanted to say thank you. Your podcast has opened my eyes to so many topics, especially important for the stage we are right now as a company (Zero to One).
We are building our first product: We are focused on the PPE market, and the first one we are working on is a new pair of safety glasses. Not the easiest market to be in, but that's the problem I picked to solve for the next 10 years.
It's very weird to say this, but a lot of the episodes are done in a way that answers a simple question.
It's like having you as my personal coach.
Seriously, THANK YOU.
Once we finish our first version of the product, I will send one to each of you. No strings attached.
This is my way to show my appreciation to you, folks.
For those asking about my favorite episodes, it's impossible to do that: so many gems, but if I have to pick my top 5:
