I just “retired” photographing the moon every day, and I amassed 222 photos during every opportunity that came along. This was the beginning of my photography hobby, born out of grieving the loss of my mother to pretty much locating myself in the Universe. I will never monetize what I create or observe, so enjoy or don’t. It helped me immensely! 30-second time-lapse and there are six full moons. #Photography #Astrophotography #Moon
@SpaceX PSA! Do not read the comments from, well… all the idiots are here! Just don’t read the comments if you already know how this stuff works! Oh, and don’t feed the trolls!
@THE_REAL_CH3@wxKobold@JimCantore I live literally 2 miles north of where it started and the good news was I could actually just drive to my west for a couple miles to get out of the whole thing if needed! But I didn’t need to thank God!
Add one for one dollar was discontinued in my local area today so I will not be back until the prices get better. It’s not about the money it’s about the value. Two sausage burritos are worth $4.10 but they’re not worth six dollars and whatever! I have a lot of options in town. Customer service is absolutely horrendous it almost every McDonald’s I’ve ever been to, so there’s that! At least Chick-fil-A puts on the appearance of caring.
Are you just playing stupid to get engagement so you can get paid? Or are you just a really crappy photographer to not understand light? No need to answer because I really don’t care. I don’t even know why commented. The way you folks make money on social media is just bizarre and I wouldn’t wanna do anything like this for money.
I have a spot in Texas where they historically travel only a couple hundred yards from where they catch fish to where they eat them on a power pole within about 30 yards of where I can comfortably sit and watch them! This will be my first year with a good camera! I’m pretty excited for them to show up, but it’ll be a few months.
@AJamesMcCarthy@cavepainter1@HighPeaks77 I think it’s OK for the standard “stupid is as stupid does” response to folks who refuse to educate themselves and start off being rude.
Earthshine tonight an hour past sunset and the moon is 53% illuminated and nearly overhead. What? @AJamesMcCarthy does this only happen during this time of the year?
@AJamesMcCarthy@wright_fra32067 Thanks, Frank for the help with my intentions of my post! When I take a photo of the moon, I always try to take it head on, so to speak, in the azimuth direction it’s either rising or setting. I thought maybe telescopes just always flip it upside down.
