VW missed the autonomous electric future through classic arrogance and legacy thinking. Too proud to work closely with the real Tesla, they’re now turning to XPeng — the partner that actually studied and adapted the best from Tesla instead of pretending it was still ahead — to stay relevant in China.
In the end they’re partnering with Tesla anyway, because XPeng in its current form wouldn’t exist without Tesla.😂
@Mike__Baier 👀Most factories still run on spreadsheets and hope. Boring Company built Wormhole and just casually dropped the future of manufacturing. Those dual dashboards alone are pure genius.🦾🫶
@wholemars Exactly this. Recommend the ones that actually deliver (software, charging reliability, range that holds up) instead of pretending every badge is equal. People deserve the best option, not brand loyalty theater.
@BassonBrain Thanks Brian! Really appreciate you sharing the official NRO explanation — and the correction. I honestly thought it was a honey badger, but the fierce little ferret looks even cooler now that I know the story behind it. 🚀
@TheEVuniverse I remember this like it was yesterday. Elon said it so clearly and so far ahead of everyone else — and somehow most of the industry still refuses to listen.🤷
@Mike__Baier Thank you for the clear explanation, Mike! The trapezoidal ring clocking system is a brilliant solution — love how SNaILS handles the geometry automatically. Any chance it stands for Segment Navigation and Inertial Localization System? Super insightful post 🔥😅
Elon put in a strong performance here. Staying calm isn’t easy — you need solid nerves for an interview like this.
Musk treats interviews more like an engineering problem-solving: strip away assumptions, demand definitions, supply first-order evidence, and refuse to accept the questioner’s framing.👍🫶
@SawyerMerritt@Tesla 🤦Germany is highly likely to follow France and delay or block FSD. The are teaming up to protect their struggling legacy automakers instead of letting technology that saves lives deploy faster.😢😠
@farzyness@boringcompany@Rebellionaire The Vegas Loop already feels like a glimpse of how cities can add high-capacity underground transport without destroying the surface. Excited to see where this goes next.
Thanks for the behind-the-scenes look!👍
Mike Baier is exceptional🦾🚀

@EvaFox YES!!! 🔥 Elon is the modern Howard Hughes! The comic version came way earlier, but this modern MCU take is perfect.
Elon: I have an idea for an electric jet.
Tony Stark: You do? Then I’ll make it work!😂
The EU’s face-watching cameras feel like another layer of constant nagging that will probably ping for normal mirror checks or quick glances at the nav. Tesla’s cabin camera since 2021 is already doing the job properly inside FSD — actually helping prevent accidents instead of just scolding the driver.
The real fix is autonomy, not more bureaucracy.
