Purtroppo concordo.
- Imposta patrimoniale; di cui non si sa l'aliquota, la base imponibile e, ovviamente, il gettito atteso;
- Il salario minimo; l'impostazione è 9 euro l'ora senza alcuno studio come invece era previsto nella proposta Nannicini del 2018;
We're in the weirdest job market of all time.
From 2020 to mid 2022, companies were hiring at a pace that made no sense.
Some teams grew 50%, some doubled. Everyone was afraid of missing out on talent, so they just kept adding headcount. If you could spell the word "javascript" you could land a remote role and a 25% raise.
Then the second half of 2022 hit and the hangover started. Layoff after layoff. Each wave was supposed to be "the last one."
Now in 2026 there are already over 130,000 tech layoffs and we still have another 6 months to go in the year.
The twist this time is AI.
Companies aren't just saying they overhired anymore.
They're saying AI is making them leaner. That they can do more with fewer people. It's become the convenient new reason that sounds strategic while making their stock pop.
But here's where it gets absurd.
More and more companies are admitting the AI math isn't working out. They can't find the ROI they promised their boards. The computing costs are massive. It's more expensive than they thought, not less.
So let me get this straight.
We're in a job market where companies fired their workforce to buy something they now say is too expensive and doesn't work as advertised.
And the executives responsible for those decisions? They're still collecting their bonuses.
Weirdest job market of all time.
Everyone is replaceable at work.
Even the ones who stay late. Even the ones who skip meals. Even the ones who give up their weekends and family time. So don’t give your whole life to a company that can replace you anytime. prioritize yourself.
Career tip: build a business on the side while you’re employed because all it takes is a 30 minute Zoom call tomorrow for you to be unemployed without anyone giving a f*ck.
One of the least discussed facts is that the household saving rate in Italy has almost returned to pre-2008 levels. In the data, this hasn’t happened because households cut consumption, but because disposable income has risen faster than consumption. In other words: very good news.
#SlavaUkraina
Scientists from five European countries have established: my husband, Alexei Navalny, was poisoned with epibatidine — a neurotoxin, one of the deadliest poisons on earth. In nature, this poison can be found on the skin of the Ecuadorian dart frog. It causes paralysis, respiratory arrest, and a painful death.
I was certain from the first day that my husband had been poisoned, but now there is proof: Putin killed Alexei with chemical weapon.
I am grateful to the European states for the meticulous work they carried out over two years and for uncovering the truth.
Vladimir Putin is a murderer. He must be held accountable for all his crimes.
Take long walks. Don't bring your phone. Zero inputs. Do it in nature. Let your mind wander. Get back in touch with your inner self. You will see what you've been ignoring. You will fix your problems. It brings awareness. Want an easy to to improve your life? Take long walks.
On Bitcoin, and what happened yesterday.
Some assets have a fundamental value, for example future dividends for stocks. Most investors buy them based on their assessment of fundamentals.
Some assets have no fundamental value, or at most a fuzzy one, for example Bitcoin. Most investors buy them on their hope of capital gains.
These investors are much more likely than stock investors to extrapolate past gains, move in herds, leading to extreme volatility.
Your best employees don't quit out of nowhere, they're slowly pushed out through performance punishment.
High performers become the default fix for every problem, carrying extra work, pressure, and responsibility without added support or pay.
Over time, excellence turns into a liability instead of something that's protected or developed.
When they finally leave, it's the result of realizing their value was being used, not respected.
Sobering data from Challenger on the US labor market:
Announced job cuts in January more than doubled year-over-year, hitting their highest level since the 2009 Great Recession.
Most notably, these layoffs are occurring while GDP continues to grow at approximately 4%, accelerating the decoupling of employment from economic growth—a phenomenon that, if it persists, has profound economic, political, and social implications.

France is committed to the sovereignty and independence of nations, in Europe and elsewhere. This guides our choices. It underpins our commitment to the United Nations and to its Charter.
It is on this basis that we support, and will continue to support Ukraine and that we have built a coalition of the willing for a robust and lasting peace, to defend these principles and our security.
It is also on this basis that we decided to take part in the exercise organized by Denmark in Greenland. We fully assume this decision, because security in the Arctic and at the outer edges of our Europe is at stake.
No intimidation or threat will influence us—neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world when we are confronted with such situations.
Tariff threats are unacceptable and have no place in this context. Europeans will respond in a united and coordinated manner should they be confirmed. We will ensure that European sovereignty is upheld.
It is in this spirit that I will engage with our European partners.
VICTOR OSIMHEN: "I used to send money to one of my childhood friends but one day he told me about a business he wants to start and needed financial support. I sent him €5k but he didn't appreciate it and even told me he read on news that I earned 1 million euros every week and he was expecting like €50k to start up this business. I was so mad that I wanted to reverse the transaction but I couldn't. That money €5k can only buy a pair of shoes in Europe but in Nigeria, it's a lot of money. Nobody sent me 1 dollar before I came to Europe, I hustle day and night, I sold bottle water on the street. People should learn to appreciate whatever they get as gifts not have this sense of entitlement."
