To suggest that the business owners who chose to open shop on the Beltline shouldn't have known better because it "was not guaranteed" is disingenuous.

It was planned. It was popular. It was paid for. And its price tag was popular.

If not for the "speech" of local carpet baggers flowing to the pockets of local politicians this would be settled.

But let’s also be honest. Ladybird opened on the Beltline after the Beltline project began. And the vision for that project always included rail.
