@r0ck3t23 I really appreciate Musk’s contributions, but sight doesn’t need fixing. Biology didn’t “decide” anything. It’s time to dial back the hubris a bit.
@amazing_physics Gravity doesn’t really exist like we thought. It isn’t a force like the van der Waals forces or electomagnetism. It’s a curvature of spacetime which creates a geodesic along which a photon, or any moving body, will travel. Did I get it right?
@lukeappleton I have great interest and little expertise in this subject. How do you back your claim? What sort of testimony or proof can you exhibit? I really do like the KJV.
@PhysInHistory If you’ve ever studied science for even a fraction of a second, you would realize modern science was pioneered largely by Christians. How quickly our hubris destroys us…
@YouVersion I am concerned with your continued hosting of the Passion “Translation.” Surely by now, you have heard and seen evidence that it is not a translation, and that much of its supplementary material has been plagiarized.
I have stopped using YouVersion and encourage others to do the same for as long as you legitimize this thing by keeping it on your platform. Are you planning on removing it from your site and your app? I hope so.
The longer I live in Christ, the more humble I become—my limited knowledge, my sin, my lack of foresight all remind me God is so much more than me, and yet He created me. He sent His Son to die for me.
Christ rose again to live forever for me. I couldn’t imagine this creating pride in me. I only want to try harder to bring Him honor while I can.
It’s morning here, and it’s beautiful.
Thank God today you can draw breath and see His wonderful creation for now. It will all end, but He never will.
You can know Him and live forever through Jesus.
BREAKING: Over 350 Christians were brutally massacred in Tegina, Niger State, between July 5-6.
Men, women, and children were slaughtered and many burned alive by Fulani Muslim jihadists.
This is part of a calculated Islamic terror campaign to wipe out Christians from Africa — burning churches, seizing land, and spreading southward.
Whether we like it or not, this jihad is marching onward — and we are already seeing it take form across the Western world.

To the Americans:
I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.
And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:
You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.
This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.
Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.
This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.
But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.
This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.
And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:
Thank God for the United States.
Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.
Long may your admirable country dominate the world.
Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states.
May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning.
Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill.
Thank God for the USA.
Happy 250th.
