After 9.5 years at Twitter, I submitted my resignation this morning. It’s been the privilege of a lifetime to work with so many wonderful colleagues on such a critical product.
I have nothing but love and appreciation for each and every one of you.

@lessachu I have the same question about car horns. The frequency of them being used by someone who’s frustrated is so much higher than the intended “be alert” that they can’t be that effective anymore
@imightbemary Years ago I was asked by a PM to set up a dashboard to monitor some metrics daily. Quarters later I was told I was the top user of presto at the company! I asked if he’d be ok if I changed the frequency, and he said he’d never looked at the dashboard.
Lessons were learned.
At some point the fact that one of the most persistent recruiters I’ve encountered (multiple emails a year over many years) is a single very determined Geek Squad recruiter crosses the line from vaguely insulting to impressive commitment to the role.
