🌟 𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒆: 𝑳𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒑𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 – HLTH Europe, 17 June 2025
Two days ago, our Founding Partner Elisabeth Roider, MD, PhD, MBA , also Founder at InnoMed Advisors, joined an eye-opening panel at 𝐇𝐋𝐓𝐇 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞, moderated by Alexa Mikhail from Fortune Magazine, alongside: Terry Doyle, Managing Partner at TELUS Global Ventures (TGV), and Alyssa Jaffee, Partner at 7wire Ventures.
The conversation ventured beyond the familiar “𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘨𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱” approach to longevity, diving into radical biohacks and even science-fiction-worthy concepts like multi-generational plasma exchange. These frontier methods, while currently expensive and out of reach for public health systems, hold transformative potential as data and innovation drive costs down and open the door to broader accessibility.
Elisabeth brought her unique perspective on how the longevity ecosystem needs to:
1️⃣ Balance cutting-edge methods with real-world scalability
2️⃣ Leverage data to move breakthroughs from niche to mainstream
3️⃣ Ensure innovations benefit more than just the ultra-wealthy
As longevity research accelerates, voices like Elisabeth’s are critical in steering a future where these breakthroughs are not just possible but equitable.

Fantastic study published in @Nature. In times of anti-science and anti-vax movement, more evidence points to viruses affecting your brain and contributing to dementia, and vaccines sometimes can help prevent this. This is the type of research we are cutting in the U.S.
@sama@Sohail_NITIE Research confirms X’s algorithms amplify aggressive, toxic, and negatively charged content, especially anger and hostility, due to higher user engagement (Huszár et al., 2024; DeVerna et al., 2024; Rathje et al., 2023).
Does intermittent fasting improve health outcomes?
It's not clearcut.

Dr. He’s gene editing was medically unnecessary and conducted without proper oversight. He was rightly sentenced to three years in jail for illegal medical practice. Nevertheless, human germline editing is likely inevitable, so establishing ethical frameworks sooner rather than later is crucial.
