We are hiring a full-time Lab Coordinator position for a study examining #PTSD in relation to early markers of #CVD risk! Duties include recruitment, IRB management, data collection, and supervision of volunteer assistants.
In my 10+ years of co-survivorship, doing life with @DGlaucomflecken through 2 separate cancers, 1 SCA and fighting off his death with 10 mins of #CPR, only ONE (1) of the medical professionals we interacted with has ever asked how I was doing. Meet Roger. https://t.co/NR4F2mkcZC
Our lab @Georgetown is hiring 1-2 postdocs! Seeking PhDs in psychology/neuroscience with experience in fMRI and interest in empathy, altruism, or psychopathy. See https://t.co/a4a6YENMeW for lab details, and send applications (CV & letter) to [email protected]. And please r/t!

If you know an LISW or LPC who is interested in providing CBT (often via telehealth) to traumatic injury patients with PTSD or depression, please share our position opening. It is listed as a Temp position but we feel it has high potential to be long-term. https://t.co/RSSu31SHXh
🚨new pub!🚨
Really excited to see this paper out from a very fun & enriching collab with @sachamcbainphd & Tim Doenges @UCCSResilience on one of my fav topics—>the intersection of trauma, health, & rehab specialties to address traumatic injury pts’ needs. @APADiv22@ISTSSnews
New paper alert! @dr_sarahs, Dr. Tim Doenges of
@UCCSResilience & I state our case for the need for trauma + health psychology cross-training to meet the needs of traumatically injured patients across the continuum of care. https://t.co/l6O5jjE2XN
@realQrampage Yes! I’m a psychologist who works in inpatient medicine. Those of us doing the work are fighting to get more psychologists in inpatient settings but it is still not the norm, unfortunately.
So insanely proud of my friend and colleague @DrSageHawn and @VA_PTSD_Info colleagues for this paper pushing the mark on how we conceptualize traumatic stress.
Check it out!
