@MrBeast Incredible. I wonder if it's because of all the different languages the videos are posted in, that makes them more accessible to the world 🌎 ❤️ just absolutely amazing work
@RowanRockwell8 @FeatherDolphins @HistoryWJacob Those "heros" come back damaged
They come back with regret, having their youth stolen in a different way. Many struggle when they come back from service. Some don't, but you can't overlook the many children that join early and 4-8 years later come bk highly traumatized for life
@SimardPete@HistoryWJacob Yeah well people will sue for any bad experience so they bubble wrapped risk. They toned down playgrounds and paved over nature.
@calbro84@HistoryWJacob@dalsault Think about everyone you know who had to be shackled with a job at 14. They are miserable. They didn't "enjoy it" at all, they aren't any better off... In fact most are bitter and burnt out by 40
@HistoryWJacob People used to believe children were small adults, and they were often punished or killed for very basic, normal deficits in development and given too much responsibility, often to the detriment of those around them.
@HistoryWJacob They have a lot of responsibility now plus the equivalent of any of those jobs going to school. They "apprentice" in their high school and spend their days learning a second or third language, calculus, computer skills, literature.... I'm amazed at current course offerings in HS
@HistoryWJacob Teens can go further than ever before into different subjects. Nothing like when we went to school. Another point is the reason the concept of childhood and teenager came about was that we learned more about different human developmental periods.
