@EdKrassen It's really important to have some understanding of the number you're providing. The murder rate went from 6 to 7.8 per 100000 people.... yes, this is a 30% increase. However, a 30% increase of a near zero number. The closer you get to zero, the harder it is to go down...

@EdKrassen The line is drawn when anything physical is involved with a minor. IE, new boyfriend or girlfriend = cool. If you catch them having sex = parents involved. IE stating/acting/being transgender = cool. Surgery, diagnosis of condition, or medication = parents involved.
