1% of people account for 63% of all violent crimes.
0.2% of people ever commit murder, and **67% of all murders**are committed by people with prior arrests
You can literally just fix crime by not tolerating people who show a history of being destructive to society.

@orrdavid Maybe it’s because they have 400B in cash the reason they are underperforming? If they can see a major correction coming, maybe low beta is the way to go. Not because Buffet. Who do you think the Fed will be calling when a crash comes?
@orrdavid Hi David,
Can you help me understand what would be the best conditions for the fund to outperform? I mean, It has been hard to understand lately.. because if you are short QQQ that dropped 1.8%, and other positions short, how come $ORR loses 1.5% today? Just trying to figure out
Notice in the recent Druck interview:
* Made a single stock turnaround/value bet on Teva.
* Made a single stock ai bet on Nvidia.
* Made a whole factor AI bet
* Made a commodity bet on copper
* Made a country/regionalal bet on Korea and Japan
* Made a forex bet, at least I think because I don't understand it.
A couple points here:
1. For comparison, why do people box themself in to a single very narrow style like US value? Or global quality longs? This is especially true if they run with leverage.
2. Reading between the lines, this is the best opportunity set I've heard Druck talk about since over a decade. He even said macro investing is back. ... I would sure love to learn that from him!

Printing money doesn't cause inflation.
Here's the easiest way to think about it:
Imagine I print one trillion dollars in my home and keep it under my mattress - there's no inflation. It's as if that money doesn't even exist.
But if I take that cash and spend it on groceries, gas, and other everyday items - that's when we've got a serious problem.
Why? Because more money circulating in the real economy pushes up prices.
When discussing whether Quantitative Easing is inflationary or not, the important thing to look at is whether that money hits the real economy.
In 2008 QE printed dollars mostly stayed within the financial system and didn't hit the real economy.
The result?
↓
❄️ A decade of low inflation.
In 2020 QE money went straight to people - stimulus checks, unemployment benefits, government spending.
The result?
↓
🔥 US CPI hits 9.1% in June 2022.
Next time you hear about QE, ask yourself: Where is the money actually going?
If it flows into everyday spending → it's more likely that prices will rise.
Do you think we'll see another round of QE soon? If so, will it fuel the next wave of inflation?
Portugal não vale a pena.
Mais vale desistir.
