Lafora disease should always be considered in the DD of progressive, myoclonic, refractory epilepsy.
We’ve recently diagnosed at @CentDinoFerrari a novel LD patient carrying a EPM2B variant never described in homozygosity before, and showing unusual findings at muscle biopsy.
