@mcuban Varies according to the year in their deductible cycle. As an independent doc, we always expect lower revenue in the 1st quarter due to deductible resets. Lots of work goes into chasing those payments down.
@BrentAWilliams2 I love deprescribing others Gabapentin. It makes me look like a genius. Their pain remains the same but all the troubling side effects go away and they feel better!
@shycollie I don’t know one physician who pays an NP or PA a FTE salary to manage their inbox. If they do that, they have terrible business sense and probably have other issues. But totally agree that inbox management has become a skill that many providers and nurses are not good at.
@espn Dude didn't tell us the "truth" until his draft stock depended on it. Meanwhile during the season, tell me why this very believable story wasn't disclosed? Great ball player. TERRIBLE way to deal with a believable story. Now I don't believe it. Do you?
@Fullcourtpass@ramonashelburne Dude didn't tell us the "truth" until his draft stock depended on it. Meanwhile during the season this very believeable story wasn't disclosed? Great ball player. TERRIBLE way to deal with a believable story. Now I don't believe it. Do you?
@SecKennedy Meanwhile, United’s Medicare advantage plans have a new requirement for approval for every referral from a primary care physician. This is their playbook. They move from one tactic, such as prior authorizations, to another. You’re playing checkers and they’re playing chess.
@DrOzCMS Dude. Faxes aren’t the issue. Prior authorizations are done electronically most of the time now and I’m sorry, boots in the ground here, there’s been no palpable change in the amount of prior authorizations this year. If anything worse. This is cute but not reality
@DrOzCMS Be serious. You had insurance CEOs involved with your decision to help with prior authorizations. They’re not the solution. they’re the problem. Someone’s gotta be the big person in the room and regulate them. But alas, you don’t have to courage to do that.
@DrSuneelDhand Who takes the medicolegal responsibility of taking care of patients? Sure as hell chatgpt and claude won't stick their necks out and risk their balance sheets. Plus, how does it work with state boards and licensing? You figure this out, maybe ai will replace us.
