Thank you so much @DailyMirror for sharing my fundraiser for an amazing doctor and a dear friend. Please retweet, donate and share far and wide everyone! 💙
@NHSPracHealth@people_nhs Anyone else noticed that my “It’s ok...not to be ok” sign has been cut off - so it just says “It’s ok...not” 🤦♀️ Perhaps a bit more on point?... 😂💙
I don’t do many fundraisers, but when my good friend @jtlewiswriter@jesstucks - a young, brilliant, beautiful doctor - is diagnosed with Cancer in the time of COVID... I do: please donate if you can 💙

Moving onto imposter syndrome; something we hear about a lot when talking to veterinary teams. There can be a tendency to overestimate others' capabilities while underestimating our own. Amazing quote from one anonymous attendee sums it up - "I am a blobfish in a sea of dolphins"
The @TheBMA @BMA_JuniorDocs Contract review survey is now live.
Anyone that has worked on the 2016 contract is able to fill it out, whether a BMA member or not.
Your views and experiences are key to us achieving real improvements for junior doctors.

Sometimes I may come across as if I am defending Dr’s. This must be seen through my bias as I spend most of my clinical time with profoundly mentally ill doctors, often made ill through their work. Role Dr’s have may create privileges but I see also the tremendous mental costs.
@drjudeharrison @drcwalker100@Tea_EmpathyNHS No evidence resilience training (RT) creates resilience unless training mirrors environ’nt expected to work in & then eliminate those who can’t cope. Eg army recruitment training mirrors active warfare. So RT for Drs must include working when exhausted, short staffed & in fear
@drjudeharrison @ClareGerada@Tea_EmpathyNHS Add: Evidence base not great for resilience training, we each need to look at what ‘I, we and they’ can do to improve things for doctors
