‘He Just Won’t Leave’: Pro-Husted PAC Commercial Highlights Brown’s 50 Years in Politics
Ohio Flyer PAC launched a new 30-second television and digital spot over the weekend that takes direct aim at former U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown for refusing to step away for good from Washington even after Ohio voters sent him packing in 2024.
The ad opens at what appears to be the end of a party, with a woman saying, “Ugh, he just won’t leave.” The man next to her asks, “The clown?” To which the frustrated woman replies, “No, Sherrod Brown.”
The narrator continues, “Sherrod Brown is still around. We gave him the boot after 50 years in politics, but he just won’t go. In Washington, Brown increased inflation. He even raised taxes on gas by 30%, and he refused to lower it.”
The spot closes with the line, “Ohio moved on. Sherrod Brown didn’t. The party’s over, Sherrod.”
The commercial lands just weeks before the May 5 primary, which will clear the field for the expected general-election showdown between incumbent Sen. Jon Husted and Brown. A person connected to the Ohio Flyer PAC—responsible for the commercial—said the spend behind the spot would amount to north of $1 million and run on a majority of streaming and digital platforms.

Notice what just happened in Virginia? Their new governor agreed to join a leftist scheme to permanently guarantee a Democratic president. Even if Virginia elects a Republican, this new pact automatically gives the state’s electoral votes to the candidate who wins the popular vote in New York and California.
You don’t think Amy Acton and David Pepper (a former Democratic Party chair) would do the same in Ohio? Elections have consequences, and the left plays the long game.
