@Sonia_Sparkles You forgot to mention…It’s the doctors, nurses and allied medical staff (HCAs etc.) who deal with all this day in and day out…not the managers who go home at 5pm other then the site manager who follows a script in the file. Stop behaving as a victim…Get to reality…
@DrShukla14 Machine did pick it up as possible anterior infarct...Ultrasound suggests the same ...Transient Hyperacute T waves on ECG...what was the Angio report

Why does acute pulmonary embolism (PE) cause hypoxia?
It took me a while to realize I didn't have a good answer. Think about it: the blood upstream of the clot should be fully oxygenated. Where is the blood that isn't being oxygenated?
The answer is pretty cool...
@DrShukla14 Absolutely agree...your clinical knowledge, skills and acumen is what makes u earn respect in an organization...everything else comes later...the day we can’t keep it up to date is the day we have to retire
@AliRaja_MD @ACEPNow @modrnhealthcr Are these fellowships available to doctors graduated from Non-ACGME training programs, i.e. for doctors who did residency training outside USA and have done there steps
@kostamorley It's a wastebucket diagnosis...simply blame it on the urine...same goes with sepsis...easier to blame it on urine to see another patient and save a breach
@EMManchester@EMTAcommittee Unlucky to be missing your talk...Having had training outside and in UK, and talking to friends in USA, EM training in UK IS faaaar behind....and I don't see any signs of catching up either...
@jfdwolff @dan26wales Or the urine has a strong smell..or it looks murky...Elderly patients admitted not only getting treated unnecessarily with wrong antibiotics
