@Mythic_Beasts @davidgerard I have my own email domain with a really good provider (they're called Mythic Beasts or something), I read my email there and my wife reads hers via Gmail retrieving them.

Now since mastodon profiles are fairly easily movable (I think), would it not be OK to use a common server?
