The rainbow implies nothing worldly when looked upon spiritually. When Jesus said “I am the light” He said He was something that shown upon all particles that the light intercepted. A certain combination of those particles produce a rainbow and therefore, the rainbow comes from the Light and by transitivity the rainbow comes from God.
