@CedGolden I felt it was a poor game plan. Like they assumed we would just line up man to man and outman them. Clearly that didn’t work. Almost no creativity, nothing to make them second guess themselves, and yet we still had a shot. We should be fine in a few weeks.
@Raestaketv I am fine with this take. However, I will argue with anyone that on the day Mike broke the 200 record, Donovan would not have beaten him on that particular day.
@SpencerHakimian Had a discussion with our daughter the other day. My first job made $6/hr, but a meal at McDonald’s was $3.24. Now a meal can easily be $15+ which is what they are paying their people. This is not sustainable.
@ApexJones22 I have heard from a team trainer that one of the frustrating things is many of the guys now just use their own personal trainer. Most of the guys are out of sync because everyone is only doing their own thing.
@CoachFreezy@justingatlin I’ve coached a ton of youth track. My opinion is that our failures previously are less about coaching itself and more about a lack of continuity of athletes. The best relays in the world run together all the time. You can’t just plug and play and expect greatness.
@RaesTake@BleacherReport This right here! I feel like there’s a shift where if you aren’t an almost guaranteed home run as a qb or an rb, value wise, it’s better to try and take you later on and get a trench player early, who is less likely to be a liability if they bust.
I feel like there’s a shift in the NFL with regards to qb and rb where if you aren’t very clearly an impact player immediately, the value to draft you early isn’t there like a trench player, hence why some good players went way late. Thoughts?
@83playmaker@Doc_Texas@BarbaroisJ You put up those numbers when qb’s were throwing for 2500 yds of offense and 50-60 offensive plays and that was amazing. These guys are putting up 3000+ yearly and sometimes in the 90’s.
