VIDEO | Vijayawada: On Andhra Pradesh government launching Rs 15 crore sex-sorted semen initiative to double dairy production by 2029, Minister T. Damodar Naidu says, “As part of the Swarnandhra Mission, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is contemplating ways to improve the productivity of animals reared by self-help groups and, subsequently, the farmers of Andhra Pradesh. We aim to double our production by the end of 2029. Under this Swarnandhra vision and in coincidence with the Atmanirbhar Bharat, and then Lakhpati Didi programmes, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is encouraging the self-help group women and also the small and medium entrepreneurs to take up more livestock productivity activities. Andhra Pradesh government, as an initiative, is promoting sex sorted semen in the entire Andhra Pradesh. In the first year, we are using ten lakh doses of sex sorted semen, and we are purchasing semen at Rs 300 and giving a 50 per cent subsidy to the farmers. So this year, in the year 2025 - 2026, we are spending a sum of Rs 15 crore to subsidize our farmers to use ten lakh doses of sex sorted semen to produce more female calves."

డాక్టర్ గారూ, నాకు బలానికి మంచి అరుకు, బిళ్ళలు రాయండి, మీకు పుణ్యం ఉంటుంది. మా గేదె సూడిది. ఈనిన వెంటనే మీకు జున్ను తెచ్చిస్తాను.

ఒక పనిచెయ్యు, మీ గేదె ఎలాగూ రేపో మాపో ఈనుతుంది. రోజుకి రెండు లీటర్ల పాలు ఇస్తుంది. ఆ పాలు తీసుకెళ్లి పొంగిపోకుండా మరిగించు. అందులో ఒక పెద్ద గ్లాసు ముంచి నిండుగా చిక్కటి పాలు తాగేసి పడుకో. పడుకునే ముందు మిగతా పాలని తోడుపెట్టు. పొద్దున్న లే, ఆ తొడుకున్న పాలలోంచి పెద్ద గరిటెతో గడ్డ పెరుగు తీసుకో, దాంతో పరొటానో, పెరుగన్నామో లేక రాత్రి గంజిలో ఇంత అన్నం వేసుకుని త్రేన్పు వచ్చేలా తినేయ్. ఇక మిగతా పెరుగుకి కొంచెం నీళ్లేసి బాగా చిలుకు. ఆ చిలికిన పరుగులోంచి వెన్నతీసేసి మిగతా మజ్జిగలో కొంచెం, కొంచెం అంటే కొంచెమే ఉప్పేసుకుని సీసాకి పట్టుకుని, ఆ గేదెని గడ్డికి తోలి, అది గడ్డిమేసేవరకూ నువ్వూ ఎండలో తిరిగి, ఆ మజ్జిక తాగేసి ఇంటికొచ్చేయ్. ఇంటికొచ్చాక ఇంత కందిపప్పుకి అంత ఆకుకూర ఏదో ఒకటి కలిపేసి ఉడకబెట్టేసి తాలింపు వేసి, దానికి ఇందాక వెన్న తీసి పెట్టుకున్నావ్ చూడూ దాన్ని నెయ్యి చేసుకుని ఒక చెంచా ఈ పప్పన్నంలో వేసుకుని లాగించెయ్. అయిపోయాక మిగిలిన మజ్జిక తాగేయ్. ఈలోగా సాయంకాలానికి నీ గేదె పేడ వేస్తుంది. ఆ పేడ తీసుకెళ్లి పెంటలో వెయ్యు. ఆ పెంట గత్తం అవుతుంది. అది తీసుకెళ్లి పొలంలో వెయ్యి. అందులో ఇన్ని ఆకుకూరలు, అన్ని కూరగాయలు పండించుకుని రాత్రికి వండుకుని తినేయ్, చివర్లో ఆ పెరుగన్నంతో మీ అరిటిగుడ్డినుంచి తెచ్చిన గెల అటకమీద ఉంటుంది, అందులోంచి ఒక పండు తీసి తినేయ్. లేదంటే మీ ఇలాకతల జాంచెట్టు నుంచి ఒక జాంకాయ కోసి తినేయ్, దానికి ఉప్పూకారం లాంటి చెత్త తగిలించకు. ఆ ఇందాక వండిన ఆకుకూరల్లో వంకాయ ఉంటే అందులో ఒక ఐదు జీడిపప్పు ముక్కలు పడేయ్. లేదా బెల్లం సెనగుండ అయినా మంచిదే. రోజూ ఇలాగ తిని, ఆ కొంచెం ఎండలో తిరిగితే మరింకే బలానికి మందులక్కర్లేదు నీకు.

మరి మా పక్కింటోడికి కూడా బలానికి మందులు కావాలట!

ఆడ్ని ముందొక గేదెని కొనుక్కోమను. అది సూడికి వచ్చిన తర్వాత ఇప్పుడు నేను చెప్పింది ఆడికి చెప్పు.
