PRAISE REPORT!
Today I accepted an offer to become an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Pepperdine starting in 2023!
LOOK AT GOD!
I’m thankful to all of you who prayed for and breathed life into me. ❤️

These are the stupid lies we are fighting against.
$144,000 per year???
Let’s make it plain. Federal workers are typically paid on a scale GS-1 to GS-15 (top of their field)
If THIS were true, the average federal employee would be a GS-15.
Insidious lies for their agenda.
Kendrick Roberson from Pepperdine University leverages ANES data (1986-2020) to show that racial resentment has become an increasingly strong predictor of support for labor unions over time at #APSA2024#ANES75th
The time I interviewed a legend about labor power! ✊🏾
Rest in power to Rev. James Lawson. His work for the advancement of civil, worker, and human rights has had an incredible impact on the world we live in today.

Seaver college professor @drkennyroberson has a vision to empower high school students with math skills to bridge the educational gap. Fantastic reporting by @ArrmanKyaw with @DiverseIssues on Dr. Kendrick Roberson's 'Ahead of the Game' initiative.

My latest research on Black homeownership has just been published with @SpringerNature in the journal of Race and Social Problems! Read here: https://t.co/zCtHpm4HJ9
This is incredibly good news.
It is wrong to steal representation from Black Alabama voters by strategically diluting the Black vote.
Fair representation matters!

As junior scholars, my colleagues and I have BIG incentives to cross the picket line.
APSA is where we can network for leads on jobs and funding for our research.
That said, my friends and I REFUSE to cross the picket line in support of fair wages for UNITE HERE Local 11! ✊🏾
The Supreme Court has ruled on affirmative action. Per Amy Howe of @SCOTUSblog, "The court holds that Harvard and UNC's admissions programs violate the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment."
Neely was killed on that subway via a vigilante chokehold.
While in a chokehold, another man helped hold Neely down.
They strangled Neely until his body stopped moving.
Neely had a nonviolent mental episode on the F train in New York.
Neely needed help, not a headlock.
Don’t tell me that systemic racism doesn’t exist in America. It’s being led by the GOP, and Tennessee is the perfect example. Today TN Republicans expelled 2 black men — Justin Jones and Justin Pearson — for protesting, but didn’t expel the white woman Gloria Johnson.
Not only are Republicans in Tennessee exuding disgusting racism but they are trying to take away free speech from Democrats.
Justin Pearson and Justin Jones are American heroes.
This is why we must vote in every election, even on the state level. We must say enough is enough to MAGA Republicans.
We are angry but not surprised that the district has chosen this moment to unilaterally and illegally push through a change in the academic calendar.
We have filed an Unfair Labor Practice charge and a demand to bargain.
The district can't ignore parents, students and staff.
This Black councilwoman was shot 12 times in what seems like a planned attack!
She was 30 and someone’s mother.
Investigation is on going, but #protectBlackwomen
