They agreed to vote tomorrow on 2 judicial nominees, approved a “Mental Health Awareness in Agriculture Day”, and passed a resolution honoring former U.S. Senator Donald W. Riegle Jr. That it. That’s all they did and they adjourned at 6:27 pm.

They go on vacation for two weeks, set a return time of after 3 pm, clock out a few hours later, and call it a day. This is what we pay them for? This is how they earn lifetime pensions?

Her name was Margaret Swan.

She was 66 years old.

She was a great-grandmother, sitting alone in train car 134 in Atlanta, headed home.

A homeless Black man, John Matthews, walked up beside her, grabbed her by the head, pulled a knife from his front pocket and cut her throat.

She screamed and tried to escape.

He held her down, st*bbing her 18 more times.

He threw her to the floor and stood over her as the train pulled into Oakland City Station.

No one came to help her as she was screaming for help.

No one even tried.

Margaret was found in a pool of her own blood when the arrived, with people filming her.
