A year of MBBS academics ≠ 4 or 6 months.
Yet 2nd-year students under BUHS are being pushed towards exams with a drastically shortened academic timeline.
We’re not asking for extra time.
We’re asking for the prescribed time.

@BiharHealthDept BUHS:
Students Deserve Adequate Time to Study
2nd-year MBBS students have received only 4–6 months of academic teaching, while NMC norms prescribe 39 weeks.
With 1st Prof results declared in February and 2nd-year exams scheduled for September, students have been left with very limited time to complete the syllabus and prepare properly.
This is putting immense academic and mental pressure on students.
We request @NMC_BHARAT@MoHFW_INDIA@BiharHealthDept@officecmbihar@Nishantjdu
to urgently intervene and ensure a fair exam schedule.
Students deserve adequate preparation time—not uncertainty. 🙏🏻

A 6-month #CCMP certificate can't replace 5.5 years of #MBBS training. We urge the Maharashtra Government to withdraw the #CCMP decision and protect #PatientSafety.
If a 6-month certificate were enough, why does MBBS require 5.5 years of rigorous training?
Medicine is built on years of scientific education, supervised clinical training, ethical responsibility, and accountability—not short-term certification.
The Maharashtra Government's decision on CCMP-based registration for BHMS practitioners raises important concerns about medical education standards and patient safety.
We respectfully call for:
• An independent expert review
• Stakeholder consultation
• Respect for the ongoing judicial process
Patient safety and evidence-based medicine must always come first.

IMA warns of a nationwide strike if the Maharashtra govt doesn't withdraw its decision to allow CCMP-qualified BHMS graduates to register with the Maharashtra Medical Council. The association says the move compromises patient safety and modern medical standards. #IMA#Maharashtra #CCMP #Homeopathy @DrDhruvchauhan@DrKaranjuneja@MoHFW_INDIA

100 MBBS interns should not have to suffer because of administrative lapses. If students completed their responsibilities on time, they shouldn't lose ₹3.2 lakh in stipend due to errors in the registration process. Accountability must rest with the system, not the students. Resolve the issue immediately.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A first-year PG student of Indore’s MGM Medical College has accused 4 senior resident doctors of severe mental harassment.
She alleged that the mental stress caused her to lose 22 kg of weight in just 4 months.
The student in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department has also filed a complaint with the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) National Anti-Ragging Cell. She had alleged that she was repeatedly threatened, insulted and humiliated by her seniors.
According to the complaint, the senior doctors allegedly intimidated her, spread false rumours about her medical leave and threatened to remove her from operation theatre (OT) postings.
