Agenda: BHMS-CCMP Registration Issue in Maharashtra

Participation: National IMA leadership & JDN leaders from nearly 29 States
An IMA JDN National Council Meeting was conducted today to discuss the BHMS-CCMP registration issue in Maharashtra. After detailed discussion, a three-step coordinated action plan was finalised:
*1. Representations & Press Releases - By 7 August*
Each State JDN will issue:
- A representation to the Honโble Union Health Minister, with copies to the Honโble Chief Minister and Medical Education Minister of Maharashtra.
- A press release to create wider media awareness.
*2. Social Media Campaign - 8 & 9 August*
A coordinated campaign will include 30-second Reels, Twitter/X storm.
*3. Silent Protest - 10 August*
Silent protests will be organised at medical colleges across the respective States. States may choose a symbolic fast, black-ribbon protest or peaceful rally as feasible.
All activities will be documented and shared with local media to create wider public awareness.
