Grateful to present our work at EHRA Congress 2026 in Paris 🇫🇷
🔹 Superior vena cava isolation – should we go beyond pulmonary vein isolation?
🔹 PFA for treating PVCs-efficacy and safety
🔹 Dual energy efficacy and safety in persistent atrial fibrillation
Grateful for the opportunity to attend, present, learn, and connect at @escardio congress. Great discussions, inspiring people, and wonderful moments with friends and colleagues. ✨

Presented at #HRS2026:
In patients with persistent atrial fibrillation, first-line treatment with pulsed field ablation reduced the recurrence of atrial arrhythmias at 12 months as compared with antiarrhythmic drugs. Full AVANT GUARD trial results: https://t.co/milHy26ojJ

🔴 Bachmann Bundle Pacing (BBP) — Daniel Lustgarten
Fluoroscopy alone is NOT enough. Using fluoro only, just half of patients met criteria for true Bachmann Bundle capture. True BB capture correlates with a sustained, significant reduction in AF incidence and burden. (Infeld et al., Europace 2022)

🔹 Superior vena cava isolation – should we go beyond pulmonary vein isolation?
🔹 PFA for treating PVCs-efficacy and safety
🔹 Dual energy efficacy and safety in persistent atrial fibrillation
Among patients with #AtrialFibrillation, elevated BMI, and 1 or more additional cardiometabolic risk factors, aggressive risk factor management reduced arrhythmia recurrence over the 12-month period after catheter ablation. https://t.co/H4EyHDrRSc
#AHA25 in the world of AF a lot of science was presented:
1) #OCEAN
Rivaroxaban did not signif ↓ incidence of stroke, systemic embolism or new embolic stroke vs ASA among high risk patients for stroke post ablation 1-year prior
@NEJM
https://t.co/WBA8zRIYa3
2) #ADAPT_AF
NOAC monotherapy was noninferior to combination for net adverse clinical events in AF patients who had undergone DES 1-year prior
@NEJM
https://t.co/1oAnybWGlQ
3) #OPTIMA_AF
1-mo was as effective as 12-mo dual antithrombotic therapy w DOAC & P2Y12 inhibitor, followed by the oral anticoag alone for preventing stroke, MI & death & fewer bleeding than long dual Rx
4) #CLOSURE_AF
Physician-directed standard medical Rx (anticoag) was better than LAAC in patients with AFib & at high risk of stroke & major bleeding
Among patients with #AtrialFibrillation, elevated BMI, and 1 or more additional cardiometabolic risk factors, aggressive risk factor management reduced arrhythmia recurrence over the 12-month period after catheter ablation. https://t.co/2SBgFqTLei
Viewpoint: For patients with asymptomatic severe aortic stenosis, evidence does not currently support routine early intervention. https://t.co/PhfFfKt5fU
A fantastic #ESCCongress in beautiful Madrid🇪🇸
Thank you @escardio for the opportunity to present my hard work, learn, and meet & make friends from around the world! Truly the best Cardiology conference!🌍
