@BringBackBanjoK It's a gaslighting tactic, it's a way to dismiss all criticism as irrelevant by just inserting it there. "Doesn't matter, I'm having a blast!"
They've done it so much that now you know the game is screwed when the blast havers show up.
@GlasshouseCRPG No, but this vegan-tier need to constantly remind everyone of the thing you're into with the expectation that people will be applauding you for doing so is annoying af.
Oh well, you do you 🤷♀️
@Cromwelp I mean they wasted their independent agency on making consistently shitty games, now the bill is due. Gotta feel like shit, sure. But they only have themselves to blame.
@Pirat_Nation Bullshit take, look at Clair Obscur - an incredibly special and beautiful game made with a shoestring budget.
The real issue is that a lot of devs are just making garbage games and quite possibly laundering money while doing so.
@DavidHarma99438@nuhre_ Did I say anything about her writing? Re-read my comment. She was one of the first people I've seen advocating for the type of brain rot game design that is becoming prevalent now.
@Brammflakes It was funny the first couple of times you took a jab at the player counts, but at this point it just feels insecure and obnoxious.
As someone interested in your game ofc I'm gonna look at the active player base before I decide to buy it or not. Online games live and die by this.
