With your nose almost on the glass, you have the best view. All the drones swooshing bey. Clashing into each other and banging against the wall. So exciting!β£
Are you there next year?β£
π₯So many camera's, so much footage. πΉ We have gathered all #droneclash items by teams, fans and media in a playlist. Check out our Youtube for all of them.β£

A few teams took on the tactic to place a Princes on the Queens palace. A two staged Queendrone. Once the battery of the flying fortress died out the tiny drone separated and became the Queendrone.β£
Want to know the teams tactics, ask what setup they are flying or just meet them! No problem teams are just besides the battle arena. So you can easily talk to them!(and even ask for an autograph)ππβ£
One of the tactics last #DroneClash was to block the entrance by a flying net. Here you see an attempt by team Dipol. Not one! But two drones weβre catched!
Did you know after one of the battles the jury saw one drone ball from team bluuf by @flyability still flying in the arena while all teammembers had already left. The drone was still hovering there autonmously. π²β£

Who new tennisballs πΎ could be a counter drone measure. During the breaks the audience had the possibility to try and take down a Tiny Whoop. There was one kid that had a good throw and took home a price!πβ£
Everyone can put his hands on this counter drone tool: Toiletpaperπ½ Unfortunatly for this team it worked better in practice than during the battles, so they need some engineering tips for next year. What household tool would you use for DroneClash 2020?!β£
So what's the damageπ₯ after DroneClash 2019? Mostly props, some motor parts and a dead battery. So you see, a lot of the drones used this year can be upgraded to be used again next year!
Some people are just born for the stage. In the case for @JasonBradbury, this is more than true! We were more than honored to have him hosting our show.
WilliamThielicke and his team Dipol took the fishing theme a step further, by creating a weapon designed to entangle their opponentβs propellers. Their weapon was made of fishing tackle and won Dipol the β¬5000 prize for Innovation
Blue Phoenix and Bluff by @fly_ability tried autonomous flying
For the Dutch guys it didnβt worked as planned. Team Bluff made one of their drones fly autonomous during a whole battle. They were quite rightly honoured with the β¬5000 for best #autonomous flying.
The 3rd place battle was awesome. @UmmaGawd from Murica managed to hop his drone -without direct vision WHUT!- through the hallway of Doom, Death and Destruction. He gave it all to try and take down the tiny Queen of Speeddrones but to late. Speeddrones took home the 3rd prize.
Team Murica unfortunately lost the battle for third place.
But whatever, like they say themselves in this after movie they made: we had lots of fun and already a lot of ideas for next edition.
