The Clancy case has really done me in.
I'm re-listening to the @ProsecutorsPod Prosecutor's Podcast coverage of it b/c they kept it 100%.

Candice De long, the FBI BSU profiler, covered it in her Killer Psyche podcast -and listening to HER, Clancy sounds like a textbook PPP victim. But what she DIDN'T mention, were all the lies and discrepancies or the lack of actual remorse. She doesn't mentions that Clancy now exercises - WITH EXERCISE BANDS. That she wasn't suicidal on the dates of her dead children's birthdays, but she was put on suicide watch after the mistrial!! She also doesn't appear to know about the Irish Morley case that Clancy may have derived her inspiration from. She failed to mention the directly opposite claims of auditory commands in the civil case.
At the end of the podcast she thanks her researchers who researched the case FOR her. That explains it right there. Like those activist jurors, they probably gave De Long what THEY wanted her to hear. I have a strong feeling that had she done the research herself (do the research yourself, Candice!!!!) she might have come out on the opposite side of this.

There's just no honesty left in the world anymore.
