The @bpi_music has put out a new report on music licensing and AI. 97% of BPI members surveyed say the existing copyright system works for licensing AI.
97%? 🧵

@forestmad80@PolitlcsUK@thetimes Literally nothing like that at all. Extremely disparaging and disrespectful to all of the victims of these despicable crimes as well.
@FabrizioRomano By sources you mean people with common sense? A rumour started by less than reliable accounts that became an alternative factoid.
Utterly baseless.
A producer we worked with has 250,000 monthly listeners. No label interest and no booking agent is willing to commit. In 2026 that situation is more common than the industry likes to admit. 🧵
@stevehead@AmazingPopPod 'Publicly notable cinephile'? who speaks like that? GPT
The 80's was full of feel good movies that have stood the test of time. Facts.
@merseyrail@BTP the sheer number of announcements at this station is borderline ridiculous. There are 2 platforms with digital sineage telling everyone what trains are due. We don't need BBC levels of cocommentry telling us 3 times that the Southport train has arrived.
Carrying on like we at London Euston, which BTW, doesn't have as many announcements. It's nothing more than confusing and frankly irritating.
Less would most certainly be more.
