Conquest mode is genius:

I can now:

✅Test decks with no real drawback. This is what I have been wanting. I will just chain test decks until something sticks and makes it to an Infinity ticket…its great for people trying to innovate!

✅Farm boosters stress free, unless I am deadest on getting an infinity ticket.

✅Earn cool stuff POST infinite on ladder. A lot of players hit infinite early and have nothing to really work towards afterwards. This mode gives us something that still matters, earns us rewards, and provides a competitive landscape because Infinite vs Infinite player games on ladder are near meaningless imo.

✅Get to know my opponent (this can be either positive or negative). I have a seen a few good matches get shouted out in a respectful way. I love that and the game was missing it. Shout out skilled/respectful opponents!

✅Learn my opponent’s playstyle and try to counter it in a match setting.
Ideally over a fully match RNG will even out or at least be less one sided.

✅For content creation I think well edited full  gold tier matches will be some of the best footage you can capture for flat out skill. Outside of a tournament setting idk if there is a better opportunity to showcase skillful play.

✅If you think someone beating you was a fluke…show them it was.

✅I think until you get into Gold the games are also way less stressful!

✅And alas, the proverbial “carrot on a stick”. It gives me something to earn, to chase, that’s different than what I have been doing since I started playing in late December…

Great job @seconddinner ! I may be a little annoyed with you about #Galactus but I get it and I love the new mode!

Conquest mode is a little more of a time investment so getting in meaningful games on the fly is not as easy.
