@arghavan_salles I'm so sorry. Not too many people discuss it and I find that when bad news is shared, too many people try to "find solutions" without validating your feelings. I hope you have the best support system possible (including your dog!) who help you feel loved and included right now๐
This course opened my eyes to the endless possibilities and uses ultrasound has in general physiatry and neurorehab...already can't wait to start planning my next ultrasound elective. Grateful to learn from the experts and for the protected time for this @mcgawgme
We just completed our annual interventional ultrasound course for residents and fellows, with cadaver stations covering musculoskeletal and spasticity injections. A great 1.5 days of hands-on learning! @NorthwesternSim@AbilityLab@McGawGME
@JimmyTo_15 As far as textbooks go, Preston and Shapiro is one of my absolute favorites. Would read it in order at least for the first chapters and then learn more about whatever pathologies you're testing/studying. Still on that steep learning curve & it's helping it click!

For my friends who are making their residency rank listsโฆ
Go where you are loved.
Go where you are celebrated.
Go where your dreams are met with excitement.
Forget about the call schedules.
Just look at the alumni and the residents.
Are they who you want to be?
@seandreyer@MVGutierrezMD@MVNguyenMD Interestingly, everyone had really broad questions rather than anything program or city specific! I feel like there was a good sidebar conversation on the merits of living close versus far from whatever hospital..I prefer some healthy distance ๐
#Bullying is an unethical yet notoriously effective tool to rise through the academic ranks. #Academia needs to change to prevent bullies from building careers at the expense of often more gifted colleagues. Correspondence https://t.co/6G5mGp0lMz by @MoriMahmoudi & Susanne Tรคuber
