@adamyounggolf Was just listening to your podcast on shot shaping this week and I heard your comment about PGA pro +/- dispersion on their club path, AoA, etc. Did you find anything from trackman or foresight? Curious for my own personal benchmarking as I practice at home on my GC quad.
@JGGolfFitness obviously, he’s a right hander working on his natural swing side here, but do you recommend also working the opposite side….little bit of gas and brakes? Should there be a difference in how we work those two sides?
@johnnymaga As a bilingual American, I‘m always amazed by people who speak multiple languages. In my experience, all people love hearing their native language, especially when they are in a foreign country or from a foreigner. I wish more Americans would embrace this.
@MyGolfSpy Huge fan of my LAB putter! I switched over from a Scotty Cameron (Newport super select 2+) to a Mez.1 with the LA Golf shaft. Up 2.7 strokes per round over my last 7 rounds. Part of that is intentional practice, part putter.
@MyGolfSpy You also know that John Daly literally bitched and complained at the exact Open that you feature (Payne Stewart) and threatened not to play the next major at Pebble? 😬
Adam, it looked like your shots averaged around 2% toe-down. Is there a reason why, at this point, you don’t adjust your club face to where it’s level through impact (i.e., have them change it to 2% upright)? I’ve noticed that my data shows a similar TD presentation throughout my bag. I already made a slight adjustment, but I’m leaning towards adjusting my irons in the bag to balance out my lie angle to ZERO, but I'm curious why you haven't. Maybe just a bad swinging day, as it's not your focus here, but since you have access to the data and already have a well-formed and set swing, why not make the adjustment?
