Yesterday, I received a cease and desist from the Uihlein family and their PAC about some recent comments I made.
Allow me to set the facts straight. The Texan man— canvassing to advocate for Tom Tiffany— who slammed four BuzzBallz before driving, struck a bicyclist with his car, and ran away from the scene of the crime was a CONTRACTOR, not an employee, of a firm being paid millions by the PAC funded by the Uihleins.
This distinction is clearly very important, and I feel so remorseful that I will repeat this frequently and often.
Thank you for your attention to this very important matter!
Wondering where the education culture wars stand right now? Look at Sarasota County, FL — a county that Donald Trump won by 18 points in 2024 — where last night conservatives lost their majority on the School Board. https://t.co/XdKNg2CgCC
Can't stop yapping about Wisconsin; this time it's about the overall electability debate: “What Wisconsin proved in 2026 is that electability isn’t a fixed thing — it reflects who steps up to lead, who voters trust to understand their lives, and who has delivered for their community,” said Denise Feriozzi, a Wisconsin-based Democratic strategist and co-founder and executive director of The Pipeline Fund.

Godlewski: "(Francesca Hong) looked at me and said, "Sarah, I am going to do whatever it takes to make sure we beat Tom Tiffany." Because that's who Fran is. She cares about people. She cares about the results. It's not about her. It's about what we need to do to make Wisconsin that best state for working people."
@vehlt Fair point. Also the question is - will he have to work with Republicans? It’s really about whether or not Dems take control of the legislature.
Lots of hot takes on WI Gov, but let’s not oversimplify this as the establishment vs. progressive outsider. Fran ran an inspiring campaign that mobilized people of every age, race and gender all over the state. David Crowley is not the establishment.
For everyone trying to understand why more progressive/DSA aligned candidates won in certain places while more moderate or traditional Democrats won in others, I give you a simple answer: candidate and campaign quality.
New: @DemGovs are up with first TV ad in Wisconsin gubrernatorial race, knocking Republican nominee @TomTiffanyWI for having a “MAGA agenda” that’s too extreme.
7-figure buy so far.

Just look at a few of the responses to this magnanimous statement from @FrancescaHongWI and you’ll see what women, especially young women of color, face when they put their names on the ballot. We must do better.
The last 11 months have been one of the greatest joys of my life. Traveling the state, meeting people in churches and dive bars and bike races and dance parties and in their homes, and hearing about what matters most to them informed every decision we made on the trail. It will continue to inform the work we do— and ask our supporters to do— moving forward.
This campaign was not about getting one person into office. It is about building a movement for permanent affordability and a government that puts working people first. Our movement is strong, and the work isn't done. I am overwhelmingly proud of our team and the work they have done to achieve that goal.
Congratulations to David Crowley and his team. I fully support him and look forward to working with him to defeat Congressman Tiffany in November.
@wiz_political Okay so the establishment is a black kid who grew up in a poor neighborhood, was a community organizer, then ran for office and won. Got it, thx!
@quarter_rican I don’t want a data center! I’m not for data centers. I’m just trying to understand what makes Crowley so establishment. I think you just mean not progressive enough. Right?
@quarter_rican I don’t think endorsements alone make someone establishment. Yes he got the Evers endorsement but Fran had endorsements from many national and state elected officials. I think you just mean not progressive enough for your taste. Which is fine! Just say that, though!
