Small advice for young: Never take portfolio advice from another designer who doesn’t have a portfolio or whose work you don’t like. Follow your own path by learning on your own.

Grok bots are great for curation. Instead of browsing the web, I use bots to send curated readings directly to me

Its a weird pattern to scroll all the way to the top to start reading the response from an AI chat. @raycast . Chatgpt and Claude do this better

A reminder to all the designers at the earlier end of their career. Most of the slick UI and design work that gets engagement on here is not the kind of design most companies want because they:

- Are not accessible
- Ignore established usability conventions
- Are not designed around solving real business or user problems

No company wants to pay for your UI that looks great but doesn’t shift the needle.
