Taxpayer dollars are funding a task force that won't even show up to explain itself.
Back in 2023, Tim O'Hare, the DA, and the Sheriff stood in front of every camera they could find to announce the Tarrant County Election Integrity Task Force. Big smiles. Big promises. They were all in.
Three and a half years later? Those same guys can't be bothered to show up at Commissioner's Court to brief the court on what that task force has actually done.
I asked for that briefing at Tuesday's Commissioners Court meeting. They didn't come. And when I pressed Tim O'Hare directly, he couldn't answer my questions either.
Here's what we do know: In 2024, the task force received 82 complaints of alleged voter fraud and filed ZERO charges over 15 months. There is no verified widespread voter fraud in Tarrant County. There never was.
*Taxpayers should not be expected to bear the expenses of activities that primarily benefit an elected official’s public profile with their base.*
The task force still has no public-facing dashboard. You can't see the data. Commissioners can't either.
I said this was a waste when they created it. I'm saying it again now: How much money has been wasted?
You deserve the answers Tim O’Hare is scared to give you. That's why I'm running for Tarrant County Judge.

This is the best political text I’ve ever received. @CommALSimmons is bringing it with memes! I’ve never been more excited to vote for someone. She’s brilliant & she spoke up for @KellerISD community when no other elected officials would. And yes,@TimothyOHare really is this bad.
To WI families across our state:
Yesterday’s hearing should have been a moment of leadership and accountability—a chance to take responsibility.
Instead, our top education official didn’t show up to answer questions about 200+ educator misconduct cases.

Committee member and North East ISD parent Bo Carrington spoke to @KENS5 about how this Bond will protect our community and our property values *without* raising the tax rate.

Our Manifesto just dropped.
It’s a message to City Hall: small businesses are not a side note—we are SA’s backbone, and we are done being ignored.
We’re calling for real fixes:
1. Stop mismanaging construction projects
2. Provide COVID relief for businesses still carrying debt
San Antonio is a city built on heart, determination, and the power of community, and these values have been ingrained in me through generations. I’m filled with hope as we welcome this new chapter of leadership.
To our new Mayor and City Council: thank you for stepping up. I look forward to working with you to shape a city that is more compassionate, more connected, and more responsive to every resident.
To the people of this city: you are my neighbors, my friends, my family—thank you. Every conversation, every vote, every ounce of energy you gave to this election season was a show of love for the place we all call home. Whether we agreed or not, your voice mattered. And it continues to be the most important thing leading our city.
We are living through a time of deep uncertainty here at home and across the nation. There is fear, frustration, and, in too many neighborhoods, pain. In times like these, we need each other more than ever. We’ll need strong local leadership, yes—but we’ll also need grace, trust, and unity from all of us to move forward.
Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep working. San Antonio deserves nothing less than a city that hears, respects, and invests in every community.
Let’s move forward, together.
It’s the last day of National Foster Care Month, and there’s no better time to take action for kids in our community.

among the state's much watch municipal races today. san antonio, and she is among the most fascinating candidates in a race full of candidates. watching this and more.
I’ve spent my life fighting for the communities that raised me, and I’m not stopping now. Our marginalized communities are under attack and city government is their first line of defense.
On the @ProgressTX podcast, I got the chance to share my vision for San Antonio and to talk about what sets me apart from the other 26 candidates.
It’s not just my heart, my fight, or my plans — it’s my track record of putting them to action and getting things done.
I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished. But I know we can do even more, together.

🌟 Vote Melissa Cabello Havrda for Mayor on May 3 🌟https://t.co/b9trDKwAWL
Wow. @melissaforsa is RISING and only surpassed in this poll by folks pumping tons of money and outside PACs into our local mayor’s race.
The real. Fcking. Deal. Go vote Melissa for Mayor tomorrow!!
San Antonio’s growth should not mean growing inequality.
With the right leadership and policies, we can build a city that is not only bigger—but fairer, healthier, and more resilient.
This plan is about creating neighborhoods where every San Antonian—whether a child aging out of foster care, a veteran returning home, a senior aging in place, or an adult living with a disability—has a real chance to thrive.
We don’t just invest in buildings:
We invest in people.
We invest in our future.
We invest in San Antonio.
Homelessness is a citywide issue, and we need real, lasting solutions. I’m proud of the work we’ve done—like leading the largest investment in foster youth in Texas history—but there’s so much more to do.
My plan is the most extensive of any campaigns—focusing on building more low-barrier housing, expanding wraparound services, and making sure these resources aren’t just downtown, but in every district across San Antonio.
We need to change how we think about homelessness—not just providing a bed for a night, but investing in people for the long term.
I’m ready to keep doing the work to make sure every neighbor has a safe place to call home.
Vote Melissa for Mayor on May 3rd

Let’s do this! It’s the last day of Early Voting and the energy at the polls will keep me moving through Election Day!
It’s been inspiring to meet so many voters who believe in our vision for San Antonio — throughout the campaign and at the polls.
City Hall should work for you and together, we can create a future where no one is left behind.

When @avowtexas told me we were making history with their first-ever endorsement in a San Antonio city race, I didn’t take it lightly.
This is a reflection of what’s at stake.
Public safety means the freedom to access life-saving health care — including abortion.
It means survivors get support and justice — not silence or shame.
Reproductive freedom is essential to dignity, equity, and real safety.
As a councilmember, I’ve fought to expand women’s health care funding, defend reproductive rights in city policy, and invest in the programs that uplift families and futures.
As Mayor, I’ll ensure the safety of all residents remains a priority.
This campaign isn’t driven by outside influence or big money. — it’s driven by people who believe that San Antonio deserves bold, unapologetic leadership.
The kind that shows up, speaks out, and never backs down.
Thank you, Avow, for your unapologetic advocacy and for your belief in me.
Vote Early Today! https://t.co/VhyCsgs0Rk
“I’m supporting @melissaformayor because she actually listens to young people—and she’s open to new ideas.
In rooms where other candidates and even council members overlook or dismiss us, Melissa makes space. She treats us with respect. She shows us that our voices matter.
Early voting starts April 22—and most college campuses in San Antonio are polling locations! It’s easy to vote, and we can make a difference when we all do it. We’re showing up for Melissa because she’s never stopped showing up for us.”

Today, City Council received a notice outlining how deeply the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ federal grant cuts will affect us here in San Antonio. Our Metro Health District is already seeing funding pulled from critical services—from childhood immunizations to mental health care and support for pregnant and parenting women.
This follows last week’s announcement that HHS would make sweeping federal cuts—slashing 10,000 full-time positions and gutting programs that directly impact women’s health, sexual assault and domestic violence prevention, and essential public health services.
Our domestic violence shelters are already overcrowded. Survivors are being turned away. And now, the very programs meant to protect them are being dismantled.
If state and federal leaders won’t do their job, we will—because the health and safety of our residents should never be up for debate.
