@paraschopra To know themselves- their strengths and their liking, To pursue things they like with a dogged determination, To understand other humans and their fundamental needs, To have taste and be able to explain why something is superior to another across different domains.
Prof. Donald Knuth opened his new paper with "Shock! Shock!"
Claude Opus 4.6 had just solved an open problem he'd been working on for weeks — a graph decomposition conjecture from The Art of Computer Programming.
He named the paper "Claude's Cycles."
31 explorations. ~1 hour. Knuth read the output, wrote the formal proof, and closed with: "It seems I'll have to revise my opinions about generative AI one of these days."
The man who wrote the bible of computer science just said that. In a paper named after an AI.

Bengaluru is poised to become the global epicentre for aerospace innovation.
@AsperaAero with autonomous seaplanes.
@Airbound_Aero with SOTA delivery drones.
@arctusaerospace with $1 Earth observation UAVs.
And now @AlteonEnergy with 1 YEAR+ CONTINUOUS FLIGHT TIME.
WHAT?!
An AI account that makes science explainer songs has grown to 500k followers in a month, with millions of hits on every video
“How a CPU is made” was viewed 11M times 🤯
AI can truly make anything entertaining
beat my Pothole Patrol high score
Varthur Road is something else. it's actually shorter than Sarjapur Road, yet has more potholes. can't imagine this being my daily commute, would require nerves of steel and surplus sanity
which road should I patrol next?
This is a privately run town near Mumbai.
Outsource the municipality administration to the private sector and you'll see Indian cities transforming into first world standards within a decade
got the high score on Pothole Patrol: Sarjapur Road
I lived on Sarjapur Road for multiple years. met multiple small accidents due to potholes + silt/sand between 2018 and 2023. always kept dettol and bandages in my backpack
which stretch in Bengaluru should I patrol next?
There is panic in India about deep tech and strategic autonomy. Panic is well placed.
Can this be overcome? No doubt. We have the most important ingredient! Talent
What’s holding us back.
Bold decisions
Radical policy changes
Creating 3-5 year runway without return expectations
It is nearly impossible to raise $10m with the pitch. “We are two Ph.D students. We have this moonshot idea. We will take three years for deep R&D and build a product. 99% chance we will fail”. Some deep tech need to start with $100M seed. Heard of LLM and GPUs?
No one will touch them with barge pole. No one was interested in Skyroot when I funded them in 2018 and now they are nations pride.
No one was funding Ather until @_sachinbansal and @binnybansal did so in 2014.
No one is funding building gas turbines engine until @deepigoyal decided to do this.
Enough talk! Let’s start putting our money where our mouth is. Or we will forever be waiting to clap for Altman/Zuckerberg/Jensen Huang whenever they grace us with their almighty presence.
Dear VCs - You have done great service by funding 10 min delivery, real money gaming, instant lending (mostly to the rich) and other operations business which has helped build the ecosystem. Now please don’t chase 5 min delivery for everything.
Very bold of the government to create RDI fund. I am waiting with bated breath to see 10s of millions to start flowing into deserving deep tech startups. The day can’t come fast enough.
Introducing Alterego: the world’s first near-telepathic wearable that enables silent communication at the speed of thought.
Alterego makes AI an extension of the human mind.
We’ve made several breakthroughs since our work started at MIT.
We’re announcing those today.
This is big. OpenAI and Retro used a custom model to make cellular reprogramming into stem cells ~50× better, faster, and safer. Similar Wright brothers’ glider to a jet engine overnight.
We may be the first generation who won't die.
Let's take a look at what they did. 🧵
So if I had to boil down my advice to one sentence, it would be: Find a kind of work that you're so interested in that you'll learn to do it better than AI can.
@AjioCares I am unable to initiate return of an order due to a technical issue on your service (order status shows as confirmed, not delivered). I’ve written 5+ emails, spoke to your CC and tried raising ticket on the app, but haven’t seen a response. This is super frustrating to be treated like this for no fault of mine. Can you help me speak to a human who can look into this?
