Junior died this morning . He was an incredible man who lived an extraordinary life - often in the most difficult of circumstances . He enriched our community. We will miss him so much RIP @CivilDefenceIRL

Recently our call-taker Andrew had a very personal experience with the National Ambulance Service.
It can be terrifying when something goes wrong in pregnancy but we're just so glad that all was well for both mother and baby.
Congratulations on the new addition to the family!
Yesterday saw the Ministerial Review of the 124 Inf Bn prior to deployment to UNIFIL.
An Tánaiste and Minister for Defence, Mr Micheál Martin T.D., accompanied by the Chief of Staff Séan Clancy, in reviewing the men and women of the 124 Bn prior to their departure.
An excellent display of professionalism from Lt Col Tom Fox's Battalion.
We wish them a safe trip and look forward to their return!

Our #Volunteers were on hand this afternoon to assist AGS with motorists who became stuck on the Sallygap.
Don't make unnecessary journeys.
The Sallygap remains closed.

It was with a mix of great pleasure & a degree of sadness that we came together to wish Paramedic Supervisors Paul Butcher & Joe O’Gorman long & happy retirements after tremendous service to the people of Sth Dublin and Nth Wicklow. Big boots for the next generation to fill.

Fantastic occasion today in Loughlinstown station as Joe O’Gorman starts his last shift after “only” 38 years. No doubt Joe will keep himself busy up the hills. @AmbulanceNAS@AmbulanceDublin@LoughlinstwnNAS
